on long hair

tsukikagePeople need to shut up and not tell us what kind of hair is "acceptable". As long as it's washed and brushed, it's good enough.
The comment that set me off the most?
I always wore it in a bun or a braid to keep it out of the way, but one day, I wore it down (it's tailbone length) because we had a meeting that day with no lab work, and she flipped out, saying I was being childish and irresponsible with my hair and it was time for me to grow up and cut it and style it properly.
Seriously, I'd be sorely tempted to give that person the finger.
Anyways. *stops being grumpy*
Turns out I was scheduled to work Saturday, but I brought it up with the person who gave me my training schedule, and she said she'd take me off the schedule, crossed it off mine, and initialed it. So yay, going home this weekend! Because Ellie has a job interview of awesomness *crosses my fingers for her* on Monday, we will indeed be coming back Sunday, so I'll probably be in the Cities less than 24 hours. Anyways, because it's Ann's birthday today, we'll be going out to dinner to celebrate that, too. ^_^ I should try to figure out something to bring home for her...
So, tomorrow I'll probably try to work on homework during the morning, then I have training from 2 to 6:15, and if Marcia hasn't gone to bed by the time I get home I'lll try to clean out my room a bit more before I leave (and thus, before I come back from) MPLS. It's not really something I can do without help, since the stuff isn't really mine...
I can't wait until I can dig into my online training... ^_^;
