my room's becoming my room!
May. 17th, 2009 08:33 pmSlept really well last night. Went to bed about 12:30, and got up at about 10:30. Went grocery shopping with Marcia (
ellie_desu's mom) and
ellie_desu at Sam's Club. Got myself some Special K with Red Berries and a 100-pack of Lipton green tea. (Using boiling water I accidentally brewed it for around an hour at it was surpriisingly not very strong. ^^;) Later
ellie_desu and I went to the mall to pick up some applications and for me to get some interview shoes (high heels!!). She also got some earrnings and bangles from New York and Company, and we split some Auntie Anne's pretzel sticks and a Pepsi. After that we went to Target where I got a back loofah (yay, I can wash my back with something that will actually *hold* the soap!), lead, .38 pens (w007), and a hot water boiler almost identical to the one at my dad's. (It seems to be a slightly different model, partly because it balances on the base a little differently.) The last part of the day was spent between 15 minute spurts of me "moving into" my room and 10 minute spurts of me lazing around. My stamina is shit, I tell you... Oh, and for dinner we had delicious hamburgers/cheeseburgers (I had the latter).
So now I'm just sitting in the living room filling out job applications while
ellie_desu watches TV on her laptop. The rest of the family's gone to bed already (
ellie_desu's mom, for example, gets up at 4:30-5 every day.) Tomorrow will be me first day actually doing my morning thing, and in the afternoon
ellie_desu and I will be going to a job fair for Hawthorn Suites. Not to mention cleaning my room further (I especially need to sweep and mop, metthinks) and finding places to put all the stuff that was in my room that I just piled on the bed in the lizard room. And doing laundry.
Aaaaand, I think that's about it. So I'm gonna go back to filling out these job applications, and then I think I'll watch episode 5 of Higashi no EDEN before bed. Actually, I should probably wash my feet, too.^^;
P.S. I forgot, apparently
aikachi found the Japanese season three box set of E.R. at Savers for around $6. The weird thing is, apparently it lists the episodes as being 20 minutes long, and it's in PAL format. Da fuck? But you know what, it's $6 and it's awesome and I don't care. So thanks,
aikachi!
[EDIT: Forgot to mention that I got paid today. $50 in Target purchases and $140 in cash. Will be opening a checking account at a more convenient bank tomorrow, since there's only one TCF branch in C-U.]
