tsukikageWow, that scene with Robin trying to choke himself was amazingly intense. Like, I don't think I've felt that much suspense in any anime series in a long time. Of course, a small part of me is disappointed that he didn't die or at least lose his hand (although, strangely enough, I think I would have preferred the latter), but the whole thing felt serious enough that I didn't really mind. Unlike with recent developments in SOUL EATER... The really weird thing, though, is that Robin didn't seem at all shaken up in subsequent scenes. I mean, I understand that he's a member of Le Secret du Roi and they're probably all prepared to die (they're Gundam pilots!), but you'd still think after something like that he wouldn't just brush the dust off his coat and go back to business as usual. Fucking Lia/d'Eon were more shaken up, and d'Eon hadn't even nearly died.
As usual, the most recent two episodes of Mushi-shi were wonderful. ^_^
All I have to catch up in for next week's MAS is Mirai Shounen Conan, which... Well, I really wish that series were dubbed so I could mulitask during it. Not that it's a bad series, but it just doesn't grab my attention very well, and I find myself getting bored easily while watching it.
