another double shift
Mar. 26th, 2009 11:23 pmI don't really mind the double shifts, especially since I've had someone else for company the last two times I had to pull one. In fact, with the abysmal number hours I'm scheduled for in the next two weeks (12.75 between 3/28 and 4/11, which is the last day on the schedule), I'm actually quite grateful to get all the hours I can.
But why, universe, do you keep insisting on giving me these double shifts on MAS nights? :(
Good financial news: I have quite the nice paycheck coming in on Tuesday. Which shall go straight into savings so I can weather through whatever my employment situation decides to become. Hopefully.
Working 9:45-2 tomorrow.
carve037, I should be able to make it to your b-day celebration just fine.
P.S. Something I realized on the train to work today: DEATH THE KID. Every letter is symmetrical on at least one axis. That must've been intentional. (Of course, it couldn't have been hard, as 16 of the 26 capital letters of the English alphabet are symmetrical on at least one axis.)
