Spring Cleaning?

tsukikageSince getting up at around 9 this morning rather than spend the day doing homework I spent the vast majority of it doing chores: cleaning my room, doing laundry, taking out the garbage and recycling... It's kind of frustrating to not have gotten much homework done, but at the very least I'm glad to think I spent more time actually working than I probably would have if I had been "doing homework" the whole time. I'm also really happy to have a clean room again. As usual, it could still use a bit of work here and there, but it's enough to make me feel relaxed inside.
The other benefit to having spent the whole day cleaning: I watched/listened to eps. 3-12 of Fruits Basket while doing it. That's a lot of episodes... ^_^; Man, it's been a long time since I've seen this series. Like, Spring 03 or earlier. ^^; (God, I've been going to MAS a long time...)
I have 5-ish waking hours until work. Ugh. Well, I might as well spend it actually doing homework.
P.S. One of the episodes I watched was about New Year's celebrations, and they were doing oosouji (massive spring cleaning done before the new year), which I thought was kind of funny since I was doing some major cleaning myself. Not that bad, though. ^_^;
[EDIT: Looks like I have to take my watch in for repairs tomorrow... When I pulled the crown out to adjust the date, it pulled all the way out. That can't be good.]
[EDIT 2: Oh, I forgot to mention, when I was doing laundry today I also washed my bedsheet, pillow case, and comforter cover. I'm gonna sleep happily tonight. :) I really need to see if I can get my comforter mended, though... Not that I can't handle it now, especially with the comforter cover protecting 1.5 ends, but I can tell the damage is getting worse every time I accidentally get my foot caught in it or whatever.]
