10 items of clothing for $91.80, and I still have $8.20 left. Yay! I also have faith that I didn't break any fashion laws, since I had Xochitl look at everything before I bought it and make sure the sleeves weren't too short or the color too ugly or anything. I may break a few laws in coordinating, of course. I do worry that some of the material is a bit thin and won't take too many washings before they start wearing down, but...
I was a little worried at first that I wouldn't have enough money on my gift card (I didn't make a note of the sale prices when I was gathering clothes to try on, so all I really had to go on was the prices listed on the clothes and remembering that they were on sale), and I was thinking of taking out an Old Navy credit card so that I wouldn't have to worry about not having enough money for clothes, but Xochitl told me that she thought that was a bad idea, so I decided not to. Thank you, Xochitl! (Plus, it turned out I didn't need it anyway.)
As a thank-you, I treated Xochitl to Chipotle, and we both got a chicken fajita burrito. Nummy. :) After that we went to Bloomingdales and tried on a bunch of dresses (I found out that I'm the biggest size they carry - yay ><;). I found myself, as usual, wishing I had brought my camera with me. I'm gonna have no memories of my youth when I'm an old geezer, and all because I was too lazy to remember my camera. I did take a few pictures on my phone, though, but so far I've been too lazy to get the cords I'd need to transfer them, and I don't have net access on my phone so I can't e-mail them to myself either. Anyways, we then had a Nutella crepe at Magic Pan, I got some tea at this little Tea Shop in Sears (it was meh), and then we went to Barnes and Noble to wait for her father to pick us up. While there I read a bit of Solanin, which I had read a really interesting review of in the most recent Otaku U.S.A. and ordered on Right Stuf, but which hasn't arrived yet. It looks like I'm gonna like it a lot, which is good.
Speaking of Right Stuf, I also snagged vols. 2-4 of Mushi-shi for $5 each, although by the time I found out they were on sale vols. 5 and 6 were already sold out, and vol. 1 with artbox, which was $8, was also sold out. Although... *checks* Okay, vol. 1 w/o box is $5 and available, so I just called Right Stuf and asked them to add that to the order. So yeah, in the end I got the limited editions of Solid State Society and Innocence, vols 1-4 of Mushi-shi, Solanin, and the Hayao Miyazaki CD Box: Princess Mononoke/Spirited Away CD Set for *does the math* $102.72. I'm rather happy. :) I hope the packaging on the CD box is nice, though... You guys know how much I hate Digipak crap.
It's looking like I'm not going to get my end-of-month paycheck by the 31st, which sucks... Plus, I have $287.93 currently in credit card payment limbo, leaving me with $11.77 and whatever's in my change jar. Which is more than enough to last me, but still makes me slightly uncomfortable.
Alright, I'm hungry, so I'm gonna go eat breakfast and pack myself a lunch/dinner.

[EDIT: LOL, and 5 minutes later I get an e-mail that my paystub is available online. Which still leaves the question of whether New Year's Eve is a national holiday... *checks* And it isn't, so hopefully I'll get my money Wednesday.]
