forgotten details
Dec. 13th, 2008 12:05 amBefore leaving for work today I popped in vol. 7 of FMA for a few minutes, and was surprised by just how much I'd forgotten about this series. I was totally caught off guard by the relatively graphic description of Roy's suicide attempt. "I had it in my mouth, Maes, and I couldn't pull the trigger. I was too afraid to end it." O.o I didn't even remember that he was suicidal, but even though I don't think of FMA as a kid's show , I wouldn't expect something like that from anything but a series aimed solely at a mature audience.
I can't wait to finish my FMA collection so I can re-watch the series for real. (For whatever reason, I don't really re-watch series on my computer.) I have 8 volumes waiting to be shipped from Right Stuf, and then two more volumes to buy. Maybe when the 8 ship I'll just put up with watching the other two discs worth of episodes online?
