stupid C

This entry made me want to post something that I've thought about for a while: the letter C. Why can't "s" sounds be written with Ss, and "k" sounds be written with Ks? And if we do that, why not simplify the "ch" to just C?

I've had this exact same argument with people. You could have kh make the ch sound. While we're at it, let's work on Y and X.
