dorama vs. dramas
Dec. 4th, 2008 10:22 pmSo, after watching two minutes or so of the Japanese dorama Team Barista no Eiko, I developed a little theory as to one of the major differences between American and Japanese dramas. I think because the majority of dorama aim to tell a story, they focus on creating characters, whereas American dramas assume from the beginning that they'll go on for a while, so they focus on creating people. Of course, this is nothing more than my own little undeveloped theory.

Also, the writers of Grey's Anatomy love repeating things. They love repeating things. They love repeating things.
And with that I'll go sip my (non-caffeine) tea and try to decide whether to try to sleep, try to relax with a book, or try to get some homework done.
[EDIT: One of these days I'll learn to stop trying to be friendly with Patrick. Seriously, it always just eventually leads to one of us being frustrated or annoyed with the other.]
