チャンプルー、お終い

After we started watching it at MAS in September of 2005, today I finally finished Samurai Champloo.
Go me. ^_^;;
Man, it's embarrassing how many MAS shows I never finished...
Saw The Dark Knight with Xochitl and her father at the Coffman theater today. My attention span was pretty dried up about halfway through. ^^; I'm so ADD these days.
The Kamen Rider comm really has me wanted to watch Kiva... I should download that after I free up some HD space. Hopefully the torrents won't be dead.

[EDIT: I was just flipping through channels a bit and came across SNL, where one of the characters was wearing a Sagara Sanosuke shirt. I think it was fate that I happened to turn to that channel at that moment. :-P But I have to say, I've definitely met people as annoyingly stupid as that character was.]

So how did you like the ending? I liked it and I think takuansoho really liked it, but I think a lot of people take issue with the fact that Fuu doesn't end up with either of the male characters. My personal feeling is that it would have been a cop-out that way.

I definitely don't mind that she didn't end up with either of them. I mean... I never really shipped either set to begin with, or really think romantically of any of it at all, except that bit with Jin telling Fuu to go to Mugen when they basically forced us to consider it. But yeah, I don't even factor the "who ends up with who" into it. As for the ending in general... Meh. The series obviously never got me to care about the characters that much, so the ending was okay, but nothing to write home about.
ETA: You know, if anything you could say I'm a little disappointed that no-one died, being the sucker that I am for that sort of stuff. (And no, I don't think Fuu's dad counts.)
