tsukikage: (Azumanga - easily amused)

I really dig the pose in this Light figure.
I pre-ordered the The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and Code Geass Part 2 limited editions today. Very exciting. :) Also, the payment on the first half of Ouran is already processing, so I may be getting that a fair bit before the release date.
I finally finished watching Moyashimon last night - great series. I can't wait until the manga comes out. :) (While I try to buy most of my manga in Japanese these days, that's one series that I'm not quite a big enough fan of to deal with tracking down the Japanese versions, but I enjoyed it enough to want to read it anyway.) I also downloaded the OP and ED singles as well as the OST.
Paraphrased for lack of audibility: "But let's face it: picking your favorite Miyazaki movie is like picking your favorite orgasm."
For the record, though, my favorite three Miyazaki movies are Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, and Kiki's Delivery Service.
I need to go pick up Ahab's remains today... I also need to go to TCF, drop off some money at the mall, and... I think that's all. Then I'm hanging out with John at 2.

[EDIT: You know, when people talk about whether men or women are tougher, someone inevitably brings up that women go through childbirth, which is apparently one of the most painful things ever. But you know what, for most of history, neither men or women really had a choice, and many (most?) women these days have epidural or the like. The point is, we can't really use childbirth as a point in this argument, at least not until we can compare women going through childbirth with men going through childbirth. My thought is that both sexes will find it equally painful.]

If you're interested, I can loan you the six volumes of the Moyashimon manga that I have in Japanese. Just to warn you, like the show it can get scientifically dense at times. They go to France, though :D

Ooh, shiny. I'd love to borrow them either way, but out of curiosity, does it have furigana?

No it doesn't, which makes things a little more difficult at times.
