I even gotted my certificate!
May. 4th, 2008 12:40 amOh, just wanted to let those who are interested know that I successfully got to my 9 am training this morning and completed my 12 hours. Granted I spend a lot of the last 45 minutes of the three hours with my eyes closed (and ears open), and I took a nap from 5:30 to 9, but I'm still glad to have this obligation to my MLC site and requirement for the class finally fulfilled.
Work on Friday, however, was another story, and I'm not looking forward to going in next Friday. I should probably go in earlier and talk to my manager, but if I don't have the guts to go in Friday how will I have any more guts to go in Monday?
Watched Juno today. I was gonna watch it with my parents, who have already watched it at the Riverview, but I kinda slept through that so I watched it on my own when I got up. It was a pretty good movie, although I know I wouldn't be able to stand just listening to the soundtrack. It was enjoyable in the movie, and I'd probably enjoy it on The Morning Show as an occasional song, but not straight through. Also, about the movie, I love how they didn't play the typical "high school clique divisions" card. Like, the moderately dorky girl was best friends with a cheerleader, and not an eyelash was bat by any of the characters.
This last Doctor Who arc was so very campy (did they get that green goo straight from Nickelodeon Studios? and the Sontaran armor was so very made out of plastic), but I'd say I enjoyed it. Also, YAYS ROSE!! I'm seriously watching every episode just waiting and holding my breath for the moment she returns for real. And speaking of Rose, the Doctor's daughter is very, very blonde. Then again, he does indeed seem to have a thing for blondes, and I know that he had a long, long life prior to new Who, so there's really absolutely no reason for me to be jumping to conclusions. Anyways, to re-iterate, YAYS ROSE!!!
You know what, I'm in the mood to re-watch season 27 (i.e, 1).
