tsukikage: (Hikki - Don't Go)

After what has probably been 6 years, starting by downloading .rm episodes on a 56k modem using direct download off someone's personal website... I have finally finished Kodomo no Omocha.
Hmmm....
Well, I still think the New York arc sucked monkey balls. I wouldn't say "burn it if it were given to you as a present", but really, if (when) I watch this series again, I'm totally skipping over it.
The last two episodes were wonderful, even if they didn't really have the relationship development that I had been hoping for, but I guess at least I have the manga for that. But yeah, it had some really nice drama, and it felt healthily big for a finale. Sengoku-sensei needs to have his teaching license revoked, though. *hates*
I love that Hayama started calling Sana "Sana" (even Sana-chan once or twice ^_^), even if it was only occasionally.
One thing I was a bit pissed off about was the last two minutes. I mean, yay for one last kiss before the end of the show, but I was really hoping it would be mutual. And on top of that, "After I get my black belt, there's something I want to talk to you about." "After you get your black belt, there's something I want to talk to you about, too. Good luck!" *ends* WTF was that? Who invented this sort of eternal cliffhanger? *wishes I had any sort of writing ability so I could write a more thorough ending in fan-fiction format*
*sighs*
Anyways, I definitely am looking forward to watching this series again at some point.

SANA AND AKITO FOREVER! ^_^;

*re-watches the Famous Kodocha AMV*

P.S. Where's my Hayama, huh?
