In reading an e-mail from my Japanese teacher, I totally just read 明日 as "meinichi", and was trying to figure out what it means. ^_^;;; (For those who don't know, it's read "ashita" and means tomorrow, and it's about one of the most basic kanji compouds there are.)
Also, I fail at UNIX.

[EDIT: Blargh, screw this. I can't even figure out how to run a damn .scm file. One of my T.A.s has office hours from 5:30 to 7:30 today, so I'm gonna go see him them and see if he can't help me catch up. Until then, I think I'm gonna go study upstairs until dinner starts at Centennial.]

I totally had a moment like that recently except in English. :P I was reading an article on CNN about a judge declaring mistrial except the word mistrial just wouldn't parse - I kept thinking "Mist-rial what's that?" ^^; It didn't click until someone else walked by and said, "I can't believe they declared that a mis-trial."
