Pat bought me Half-Life at the Loading Zone "fire sale" - $5. Freaky game. I keep on feeling like I should be taking notes ala Myst/Riven or Obsidian, but Pat says it's not that kind of game. Good to know, but it doesn't make the game any less frustrating.
Went to my mom's during (not for) lunch yesterday. It was nice to spend some time with Allie... Allie and I watched Bring It On Again, which actually wasn't bad for a sequel. Very well set up for a third Bring It On movie, though. Meh. If it's on par with the second, I won't mind.
Mom gave me $100 from Oma for Christmas. I spent $10 on the new Megatokyo book, put $5 in my wallet, and the rest is going towards my trip this March. Mom also said that despite my grades she'll still forward me the bus money. Yay! I'm also going to go to my mom's next weekend to work on my University of Heidelberg application and to go to the Rainbow with Reiko-tachi.
Pat picked me up around 4:15 and we went to Barnes and Noble (where I bought Megatokyo), and then we went to my dad's for dinner. Neither Ann nor Alana were home, but we had very good spaetzle and (kinda thin) goulasch. Walking Pat to the car I kept on saying "Men in Black Flashy-Thingy", trying to make him think that that was the first time he had spaetzle. Didn't work. ^_^;
After Pat left I was really exhausted, but also kinda ancy. Convinced Jeff to pick me up and go to Perkin's with me. At 12:30am. Yay! I really wanted a malt, but they only offered them until 11pm, so I had oatmeal and orange juice, while he had some kind of quesadilla. We both had about four containers of half-and-half. Whee!
Gotta work today. Seriously work. It's not total deathage, but I can't screw around, and I may be up a bit late. Fun fun.
