*sips some of my "home-made" miso soup*
Hmm, a bit watery actually. But still, not bad. But seriously... I should have trusted my instincts that any recipe calling for 14 oz. of tofu was not for a single serving. Well, I put the rest in my thermos and will take it to work today for lunch. Which is what I must now get ready for. Jaa.

[EDIT: Even though I love tofu... I'm also thinking this recipes calls for way too much of it even for 5-ish-servings... And maybe not enough onion. But the wakame I added was nummy. :)]

I like making akadashi miso shiru (the really really dark akadashi miso). :) It's yummy, especially with tofu and wakame, and very easy to make, too!

Well, as I said, their "single serving" was about quart of soup, so if I were to make another batch that big, I'd probably only halve, or possibly third, the amount of tofu.
