things are popular for a reason
Feb. 9th, 2006 08:57 pmI should really learn that things are popular for a reason.
I've been avoiding watching FMA for a while now, not wanting to become "one of the masses", but I just finished episode 8, and it really is a great series.
I'll also say that I downloaded episode 168 of Naruto ("Burning Pot! Mix it, Stir it, and Boil it!!"), and it seemed to have some potential. It was a strange non-plot episode, though, so I don't know if the plot episodes are better or worse (there's room for both possibilities). But at least I didn't get spoiled for anything like I would if it were a plot episode.
