I'm sitting on the bus as I write this. After making food this morning so I won't starve at work and taking a shower, I ended up missing my bus, so now I'll be 5-10 minutes late to class. On top of that, I forgot my homework that's due today - meaning an automatic 10% off if I turn it in tomorrow. Gonna have to get up even earlier tomorrow to turn it in & make it to work on time.
Groceries I need:
- strawberry jam
- soon I will need peanut butter
- oatmeal

I don't know how much anything costs! The first item I sold, I asked how much the customer would be willing to pay ($20), and let her pay that! What if they cost $60?! Then I sold a pair of sunglasses for the price of the glasses nearest to them ($25). Just now did I realize that the glasses on the other side are $35.

I give up. From now on, I will not contact her. Not by phone, not by e-mail, not by snail mail. There is nothing more I can do. The future of our relationship rests solely on her.
I wish that I could get a tab at Teavana.

I'm tiiired. Well, no, I'm not THAT tired, but it's been a long day. I start work tomorrow at 2, so I'll have a chance to drop off my homework and go to the mall management office to find out how to get a mall I.D. (which many stores require to receive mall employee discounts - I'm surprised it's not all!). I may have lunch with Patrick instead of going to the mall management office, though. It's not like I have the money to pay the 90% on any food anyway.
I forgot to mention it, but I got checked for proof of payment on the light rail for the first time today. Was neat. ^_^ Also made me a bit nervous, for no particular reason - like I'd suddenly discover that I'd lost my UPass on the bus, though I held it in my hand. Or maybe like it'd turn to water right before the policeman gets to me.
I wonder what I'll have for dinner tonight. Maybe that peanut butter rice krispie bar that I bought yesterday? Reminder: borrow money and deposit!
*sighs*
I'm gonna put this away and take a naplet.

This is the fourth time in three days that I've been checked for proof of payment - wow... Actually, someone on the train last night had false payment (I think it was paid for with a Go To card, which he didn't own) and he was written a ticket.
I spent the night at Pat's last night, and it was wonderful. Even if we won't get to see each other or talk to each other as often, maybe it'll make the times we do (at least when we get to take our time) all the better.
However, I need to set myself up with morning routine materials at his place: a brush, clean work clothes, oatmeal, ramen... (I already have a toothbrush over there, and I can use his shampoo, soap & conditioner.)
I'm going to ask Yaron for a small advance for food today - otherwise all I'll have are tea samples!

I'm gonna have a lot to type up! [Yeah, you will.] I have to admit, I'm looking forward to having some time to myself - not working or sleeping. Thank goodness for public transportation!
Yesdterday I sold around $1000 worth of merchandise - go me! But today too many people actually looking for reading glasses moved on without buying anything for my comfort. I really need to learn our inventory better.
I want a nap. And something to drink.

Yaron isn't too pleased with me right now. Amy (who was working the cart yesterday while I was sick) told him about the disorder the cart was in, and around $100 is unaccounted for (?!). Is it a coincidence that he's supposed to be training someone new in today?
I really don't relish having my hours cut by a second cart worker... I hope they end up working nights and weekends, and soon enough that I can pick up that job at Tiger Sushi.
And just WHERE are those business cards with the people's names and phone numbers who made special orders on the back of them?
[That last sentence was crap, I know - so shut up.]

I got payded yesterday. Getting payded is good. ^_^ So now I have $139.44 in the bank and $30.83 in the purse. ($50 - $10 to Yaron - $5 to Dad - $1 for 2 Krispy Kreme doughnuts - $1.26 for a pack of gum - $1.91 for a cup of Dragonwell green tea.)
OK, I just got back with some customers, and I am NO fashion consultant. The lady asked for a pair of wider glasses to suit her face better, and all the stuff I brought her was too narrow.
But seriously, I've been here for nearly 3 hours and I have taken in $25. At least that's more than my pay, but still - it's SATURDAY! I WANNA BE A VALUABLE EMPLOYEE!
*sighs*
I'm gonna have a humongous monitor waiting for me when I get home. Apparently when it was bought 10 years ago, it cost $3000. $3000! Whoever bought that thing was crazy. (Patrick's dad's work bought it for Patrick's dad.) I'm curious to see what I'll think of it.
Speaking of computers, I need:
- Half Life 1, 2, CS, etc.
- a microphone
- to register JISHOP
- to register Black Alarm Clock
- to pay Patrick/Patrick's dah for computer equip.
Sometime tomorrow I need to work out a budget for myself. Also talkt to Dad and/or Patrick about priorities. (Dad's main advice would be "quit your job", "quit school", "you don't have any money to make a budget with" and "wash the dishes" - if I can get him past that, I'm sure he'll offer valuable advice.)
