font fail

So, whenever I copy and paste text from the OED (a CD version my dad installed on this computer), it pastes in the Plantin OUP font, and when I change the font to Times New Roman, it turns into boxes. WTF? Do I need to copy this by hand? Or maybe I'll have better luck using the online version, assuming my UMN login info still gets me in.

Also, lol at the karaoke version of a sappy Johnny's (a boy band label) song followed immediately by Forces (that Hirasawa Susumu song that plays during the episode previews for Berserk). And speaking of Hirasawa Susumu, Paprika was on TV today! I wanted to make Ellie watch it, but she had to leave for work soon-ish and had to get ready for that, so I'm going to make her watch it after I bring it from MPLS. Bwah hah hah hah! Anyways, yay for more exposure of Kon Satoshi movies.
One more thing, I guess... I just looked up Kon Satoshi on Wikipedia (wasn't sure which was his family or given name), and found out that he's working on a new movie called "The Dream Machine". Umm... Isn't that essentially the subtitle to Paprika? ^_^;

[EDIT 2: The solution to my font problem? Paste it into a text editor first, then copy that and paste it into Word.]

日本語文法辞典【上級編】

I finally bought A Dictionary of Advanced Japanese Grammar. Yay! I also wanted to get the two JLPT exam booklets, but one was temporarily out of stock, and I really don't need them anyway until I've studied the material more thoroughly.
Actually I also got the $7 off coupon on it extended by a week, since I called to see if maybe I could get the discount that was good until the 31st, but was either until the 31st Japan time, or until the 31st exclusively (or both). Rakkii.

Does anyone know if they sit seiza in any countries other than Japan?
