BANDAI spoiled me...

Hmm... I'm disappointed. Code Geass R2 LE vol. 1's retail price is listed as $44.98, compared with the first season's LE vol. 1 cost of $74.98 (which came with an amazing artbox, one manga, one OST, and one sound episode) and Gundam 00's LE vol. 1 cost of $49.98 (which will come with two manga). Which makes me think The R2 LEs will be significantly less shiny. Which I don't mind so much in general (I'm not THAT depressed that I don't get an artbox or OSTs for 00, although the artbox at least would be nice), I am pretty disappointed in terms of it being two halves of the same show. It'll essentially feel like I have half the artboxes, half the soundtracks, and half the sound episodes... I almost wish I didn't have the S1 shinies...
P.S. I have to admit I'm somewhat meh on manga as an LE extra. After all, you can buy them just as easily separately at the bookstore, besides the fact that most BANDAI manga are based on the anime, which generally means a sub-standard manga. (Yet I'm still getting the 00 LEs and collecting the Geass manga volumes that weren't in those LEs. ><; Although with Geass it's partly to fill the holes the LE collection started.)
