tsukikage: (時かけ - 5 Puddings!)
Well, that was pointless. I showed up, the prosecutor eventually arrived, I told him about what had happened on the way up to the courtrooms, he said it would be a tough case to prove and he was thinking of dropping it, I said that was fine with me, and he said I could go home if I wanted, so I did. At least I spent a lot of that time reading. ^^;
And this is me, still having not seen a courtroom in person.
*goes to shower*

[EDIT: Mrf. It's an hour and a half after I got home from the government center, and I still haven't figured out what I should do today, and in what order. Honestly, I kind of just want to sit on my couch and read one of the Japanese history books I borrowed, but I know I should focus on cleaning and homework. So really I guess it's not that complicated, I'm just feeling lazy.
Oh, I should probably mention that I finally finished reading Final Exam, although to be honest I'm reading through the notes at the end of the book, so I guess in that sense I still have a little bit left.]
tsukikage: (茶の湯 - clean)
Well, I've made pretty decent progress in tidying up my room. Not really quantitatively, but qualitatively, if that makes sense. It just feels cleaner. I think vacuuming really helped. I also got a lot of laundry done, which feels good. (One downside to having no dirty laundry is I have nothing to dusty with.) Made no progress on the kitchen or bathroom, but I think it'll be okay if I just do those tomorrow. I hope... Anyways, I think I'm gonna watch an episode of Code Geass and then get to work on homework.
The first half of this year's Kouhaku Uta Gassen finally finished downloading, but I'm getting an ETA of a little over 2 days on part 2. And it's 83.4% finished. Grrr...
tsukikage: (ヒカ碁 - Hikaru geh)
If you ever go into Lund's and decide you want to try their Tiramisu... Don't. :( I'm seriously disappointed, and only finished it because of the money I spent on it.
Anyways, at Tea Source today I got a tea cozy (although apparently it's meant for keeping the tea warm during brewing, I'm hoping it'll keep it warm after), 6 oz. of English rose (picked up a sticker set for this too), a chocolate cream cake (om nom nom) for me and one for my friend, a sampler tray for me, my friend, and her dad (her dad has diabetes so couldn't have a cake anyway), and some scone mix to make for Ann. The tea samples were very nice, and it was fun to pass the cups around. I also decided to try a to-go cup of Peaches & Cream Green (which my friend treated me to), which I liked surprisingly well, although I don't think enough to ever bring some home. One of the workers commented that the owner of the store partly decides what teas he'll carry by whether he can taste the tea itself; if he can't, he won't carry it. That might be part of why I liked it.
I saw that Lund's is hiring. I should apply there again. Since I got my first call back for a job that required that stupid survey on the application, I might have overcome that particular hurdle.
Finally, to the BANDAI employee who wrote out the romaji lyrics to Kaidoku Funou: 果て無遠く. And if you listen, you can hear that "k" pretty clearly. "Hatenai" my ass.
