Netflix friends
Dec. 10th, 2008 12:51 amI just signed up for Netflix, so if anyone wants to friend me, feel free to send me an invite.
The sad thing is, I already have 442 DVDs in my queue, not counting the 16 watch instantly items. Unfortunately I tried watching Solid State Society on watch instantly, but I think it's a touch too much for my computer to enjoy it properly, so I'm just going to watch the DVD.
So, I'm getting 2 DVDs at a time, and my first two items are Henry V (1944) and Love My Life (some live action movie about lesbians that I decided I didn't want to wait to watch). After that I have Emma: A Victorian Romance and House, M.D. in alternation.
[EDIT: You know what I would love? A Netflix-style system for iPod videos. Seriously, when I spend 10+ hours in commute a week, I burn through iPod videos like no-one's business.]
[EDIT 2: I still don't know if I should go with one or two at a time. Like, I would do one, because it's not like I don't have lots of other things I need to do in my life besides watch movies and TV shows, but at the same time I don't want to have a five day gap or whatever between sending in each DVD and receiving the new one...]
