This song is so absurd, even setting aside the fact that they drop a syllable in a phrase they repeat 30 times over.

Made a necrophobia filter. Lemme know if you want in.
Having trouble figuring out how copulas work syntactically.
Chewed up my lips reasonably well today, so the toothpaste is stinging 'em a bit. Why does this toothpaste always make my mouth taste sour, though?
Got a postcard from the dentist today. Gotta make an appointment on Monday, along with picking up my planner from some nice man who found it at the bus stop on Friday and go into the MLC to plan for Wednesday's lesson.
The ending of today's Who ep. was sort of hilarious.

[EDIT: I forgot to mention that I learned that Ahab doesn't like garlic, or rather that he was unwilling to try it after sniffing it. *wonders if Becca wouldn't like garlic*]

Seriously, wasn't the beginning of that video straight out of the first GitS movie? Anyways, the video isn't that bad, actually, and I kind of like her new techno sound. I must say, though, that if she did this because she thought it would sell better, rather than because she likes some anime or thinks anime visuals are interesting (I certainly don't expect her to be an otaku), I'll be pretty annoyed. I shouldn't jump to any conclusions, especially since "She hates anime but decided to make an anime-style music video for marketing reasons." is a big jump to make.

Speaking of Ghost in the Shell, I started reading Ghost In The Shell 2: Innocence: After the Long Goodbye, which I bought at Borders last Wednesday. So far it's... okay. To much detailing the differences between human and cyborg body function and the like, and it's strange that the only character from the rest of the GitS universe that we've met so far is Batou (and his dog, if he's present in the rest of the universe), and an IM from Togusa. Anyways, it's apparently the prequel to the movie, so I suppose it'll be good to have read before I finally get around to seeing it. *feels totally lame for not having seen or bought Innocence yet*
Heh, I remember way back during the Minneapolis Anime Festival in 2002 when I got to see the first Ghost in the Shell movie with my friend at the Suburban World Theater. It was a dinner theater, and during the festival they had Japanese food. I had sushi. :)

Even now that we've moved on to more advanced syntactic trees, TreeForm is still a bitch. Unfortunately, I can't use phpSyntaxTree now that we're doing movement. Or at least, it'll require a lot more post-processing. Actually, maybe it wouldn't be so hard. Hmmm...

[EDIT: *gives TreeForm the finger and decides to just do things the old fashioned way - by hand to scan in later. (Well, as much as you can call using a scanner "old fashioned".)]
