One of the guys in this podcast really bores me... 50% of the words that come out of his mouth are "yeah", "yup", and "yep". It's actually pretty annoying, although not so annoying that I want to stab him or anything.

The trailer for the new Speed Racer movie is out:

That looks horrible... And I hate the mix of modern/retro live-action/cheap digital animation they have going on. Makes me wonder how bad the Dragon Ball Z movie will be.
I'm just glad I never became a fan of either so I won't feel obligated to go to these.
tsukikage: (Hikki - Don't Go)
1. "Boku wa Kuma"
2. "Flavor of Life" (Original Version)
3. "Flavor of Life" (Ballad Version)
4. "Beautiful World"
5. "Kiss & Cry"
6. "Stay Gold"
7. "HEART STATION"

(I don't believe these numbers have anything to do with the actual track numbers.)
Somehow I find it amusing that "Boku wa Kuma" is going to be on the CD. I mean, I like the song a lot, but it's still very much a children's song.
I'm also not sure I like the idea of having both versions of Flavor of Life on one album.
I'm too lazy to verify this myself, but it also says that she's working on a new English album. Now, as I've said in the past, there were a number of songs on EXODUS that I really liked, most notably "Kremlin Dusk" and "Exodus '04", and I quickly got used to the rest of the tracks, but in the end, I'm just rather skeptical of this new album. Again, I firmly believe that she both has the right to and shoud record whatever style of music she wants to - in a lot of ways music is ultimately for the sake of the singer, not of the singer's fans - but as for what I want, I'd like something closer to her Japanese work, and a bit less sexual.

And I still can't tell the difference between the old and new mixes of "Fly Me To The Moon". ^^;

Seriously, though, she looks wonderful in glasses. More people should wear glasses. *nods*
