iTunes song authorizations

So, to those on my f-list who buy music off of iTunes (and particularly those who have an iPod which they synch their purchased music to):
Do your songs randomly get de-authorized 2-4 times a month? Is it just my accounts that don't like me? (If it is, it might actually have something to do with that I have music purchased under three separate accounts.) I'm just so sick of having to constantly re-authorize them and wait for them to re-transfer to my iPod (since I only realize this has happened when I'm trying to synch my iPod, and it removes all the unauthorized songs from my iPod at that point).

God I hope I can return this summer...

I'm going to work really hard to not spend a lot of money this spring so if I can I won't feel guilty about not working over the summer.
