よし。
I got a call from some company that works with Providian, and my account has been "cured", which means my account will no longer be considered delinquent and I'll stop accruing late fees - and I'll have internet access to my account again - by paying $114, which will go through on Friday. (Don't worry, I verified that they were real by asking for my account details first.)

You know, I bet Walgreen's has patented their idea of color-coding medicine bottles according to members of the family so people don't accidentally take the wrong medicine and hurt themselves. One example of something that I don't believe should be allowed to be patented.

So, I'm writing my 300-400 character 留学か旅行の経験の作文 (essay on a study abroad or vacation experience), and I was going to write about my trips to Germany when I was younger, but since we have to stuff it with vocab and grammar from this lesson, and most of the vocab is school-related, I'm thinking it might make more sense to write about my trip to Vancouver to visit U.B.C. Of course, then I'd have to do a bunch of research so I can fill in the gaps in my memory when it comes to the specifics of the academic program there that concerned me and why I wanted to go there, and I'm lazy.

tsukikage85 (7:06:12 PM): i hate trying to figure out ways to cram given grammar and vocab into something i'm writing
RedClaw49 (7:06:19 PM): I agree
RedClaw49 (7:06:28 PM): There's always the tried and true make-shit-up option

Of course, I've never been good at bringing myself to just make stuff up... It's a bad habit I need to break.
