I've been debating whether to lay down now and write this later, or to just type it up now, and I've decided to write it up now.
So, I did a bunch of errands this morning, the first being going to S.A. to pick up my paycheck ($147.46, which is rather low, but I guess the pay period caught the light ends of two work weeks). After leaving the store Maria (one of my co-workers) ran after me to ask if I wanted to do my interrogation then rather than at 2, which I was certainly not going to to compain about. It actually went a lot easier than I was expecting, but that's all I'm gonna say about that as I'm too lazy to lock this post.
After that I went to the U. I checked to see if Alana was working, since she said she'd be working today, but the people at PTS told me she was coming in at 3. Stopped in to Great Clips for a quick estimate as to how much hair would have to be cut off to make it look "decent", and they told me about 3.5 inches. Er... Too much. :( Then after depositing my paycheck and taking out $60 cash I went to the Coffman bookstore to pick up the third year Japanese textbook (didn't get the optional books yet, as they cost about $90 and I have other priorities) as well as a pencil and pen. Said hi to Tori-chan while I was there. :)
After that I went to UDS to sign up for some shifts at Jamba, and although it's not the best, it's still way more managable than trying to do 10 am - 9:30 pm shifts at Easy Reader. So, here's the breakdown:
Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays: noon to 6 at Jamba
Tuesdays and Thursdays: 2 to 5 at Jamba
Satudays: 10 to 2 at Bene Pizzeria
Then there's Japanese from 6 to 8:15 on Mondays and Wednesdays, MAS from 6:30 to 10 on Thursdays, and work at S.A. from 11 pm to 7 am whatever 3-4 days a week they schedule me for. Again, not ideal, but still about the best I can ask for. Now I just need to make sure I've paid off the rest of my debt to the U (or enough that they'll let me register for classes again) by the time school starts so I don't lose my job, and figure out how and when to tell Richa so I can keep my hours through the end of August and actually be able to pay off my student account in time.
And then I went up to Jamba with Sophie and got me a power Banana Berry with energy and spent some time talking about "your mom". :)
Only real downside to today: I seem to have left my 2nd volume of 3 kyuu tango cards at Coffman. :(
And now I lay down.
[EDIT: I called the UDS office in Coffman, and they found my tango cards and set them aside for me to pick up on Thursday, so its all good. :)]
