my stupid rant

Nooo... I downloaded the full KareKano series, and it turns out to be the dubbed version. Now, I'm not a dub hater, but in general the dub takes priority only after the sub. In the age of VHS, I'd only ever get the sub (if I had money then, that'd be the case, anyway). Now, besides the fact that good dubs were rarer than... something really, really rare... then, now that we have DVDs I always watch the sub first, then allow myself to watch the dub or sub according to my mood.
Yeah, that was a bit of a rant, wasn't it. in any case, I guess the point is that... Even though I'm enjoying this, it still kinda sucks that the only copy of the series I have is dubbed.

Actually... Now that I'm hearing Arima's voice... Eeh... Not so great. ><;

starting to change my mind?

I'm really starting to think that I want to get my own apartment. I know I've always said that I don't understand the point if you're not living directly on campus, but... I guess I'm starting to change my mind.
Of course, I can't afford to put myself through school and live in an apartment, but my dad's saying I shouldn't be trying to go to school full-time anyway...
Out of curiosity, though... Would any of my RL friends out here have any interest in sharing an apartment with me? I'm not at all serious right now, but it'd be good to know if I do decide I'd like to take it more seriously.

Also, this series has a surprisingly good soundtrack. ^_^

[EDIT: Yeah, there's really a lot of stuff I have to do before I even start thinking about getting an apartment. Like getting a job and paying off my credit card, for one. ^^;]

I just finished episode 26 of Fushigi Yuugi, which ends with a cliffhanger of doom, AND THE TORRENT FOR THE SECOND SEASON ISN'T EVEN MOVING AND STILL HAS 67.8% LEFT!!!
