Dec. 22nd, 2005 02:32 amTo do before I go home:
-do dishes
-clean kitchen
-clean bathroom
- go through old papers and organize/throw out
- pack clothes, medicine, and anything else I want
- spend some time taking out soap from carpet
- make kanji flashcards
To do over break:
- continue cleaning and doing laundry
- C.A. application
- summer assistant application
- general job hunting
- JAMBA JUICE APPLICATION!!!
- U of MN bookstore application
- prepare supplies for next semester
- study Japanese!
- update resume and cheat sheet
- update acad
- clean gmail
- clean computer
- catch up on Megatokyo... starting from the beginning
- keep up with LJ
- rename Genki files
- make Genki MDs
My room's finally clean, and though I suppose I should start some laundry, I'd like to be in bed before it'll get done, so I'm just gonna have to do that tomorrow. For now, I'm gonna crawl in bed and work on making some kanji flash cards. Maybe... Chapters 3 and 4?

my Christmas shopping failure
Dec. 22nd, 2005 06:03 pmOof-dah. I got an e-mail today that my hold was released by the people at OneStop, so I went to Coffman to go Christmas shopping. I was there for maybe two and a half hours trying to find decent stuff, and when I finally went to the front counter to pay... My hold hadn't fully gone through yet. So I have to go back tomorrow to pay for it and pick it up.
Mou...

I ruined my bra!
Dec. 22nd, 2005 10:39 pmOof... Just got done with my first load of hand-washed laundry ever, and to celebrate it... I ruin the lace on my first real bra. (All I own is sports bras and a few piece-of-crap bras that don't actually do a good job, but I occasionally wear when my shirt doesn't accomodate the shape of my sports bras.) Basically, the lace over one of the cups got totally pulled out, and it's partly attached so I can't pull it the rest of the way out to make it look decent. Blah...
I've also been getting a bit lazy with my machine washing, and I just got done with a load that had every color from white to dark red. I really wanted to get all of my laundry done, though, and I wasn't up to doing a bunch of three-item loads. It's not particularly good for the environment, either. It was a cold wash though, so it should be okay. I'll take a look when it comes out of the dryer.
On the plus side, I had some yummy minestrone Patrick gave me when he went home for dinner today, as well as some chocolate milk I bought witht the last of my flex-dine yesterday. (It runs out at the end of the semester, and Patrick and I had both had around $17 to spend, so we just bought random crap at the U Deli in Coffman, including sushi for each of us. ^_^)
So, I'm a bit worn out from the hand-washing, so after I put away this load that just came out of the dryer I'm going to watch the rest of the NieA episode I started earlier, but then it's back to work so I can go home after getting my Christmas presents at Coffman tomorrow morning.
Oh, I also want to say that I finished re-reading Megatokyo 1-100. Yay me!
