Had another talk with my CA tonight, about the roommate situation, about my grades, about my living situation next year, about getting a job... I felt bad for angsting so much, but I guess it's his job to listen. He says next time he goes to study somewhere condusive (sp?), he's gonna come knock on my door.
Watched the first episode of Kami-sama, Mou Sukoshi Dake. I should be more off-put by the age difference (not to mention the fact that I don't think she's legal), but I think I'm gonna end up squeeing over it anyway.
I've decided that for the next month or so (except perhaps on thanksgiving) I'm going to go on what for the first time I'll actually call a diet. That is, I won't be eating any blatant junk food, such as pop (up late? green tea!) and candy. Low-fat strawberry frozen yoghurt is okay. ^_^ (Only one small-ish cone per meal, though.) Also, when getting meals at the dining hall, I'm gonna try to eat more fruits and veggies (eat your salad first!), and also make sure to get some meat. I won't have to worry so much about the carbs, as I have plenty of rice, oatmeal and ramen at home that I'm sure I'm gonna be snacking on. (I should probably reduce myself to a half bag of seasoning when it comes to the ramen...)
I haven't decided how long I'm gonna be strict with myself, but I'm gonna be more reasonable on special occasions (birthdays, Thanksgiving, etc.).
And for my late-night snack: two servings of oatmeal with two teaspoons sugar!
(Oh, Jack reminded me that Centennial's dining hall is open until midnight, so I might try to get my butt over there for late-night hunger more often. Get some exercise, too: two birds with one stone!)
Okay, time to do some more cleaning and study a bit for Japanese, then some meditation, then bed time.
