I have discovered StepMania!
Nov. 4th, 2005 07:33 pmI'm seriously starting to get addicted to StepMania. I just wish I had a pad so I could actually get me some exercise (and so I could those stupid up/downs better). I've been particularly enjoying White Reflection - not only is it a great song, but the person who made the steps did a really great job! If only I could get a feel for Simple and Clean's Wait and See's rythym. I don't know how the creator of those steps was listening to it when they made them, but I can never get them at the right time.
Which makes me think... I wonder if psychologists have ever used Bemani games to test visual and auditory timing. From my personal experience, it seems that I can time better using auditory cues.
Anyways, I was going to go home tonight to give my dad the money I owe him... But it's getting too late, so I guess I'll do it tomorrow. For now, I'm gonna go take a shower and get to studying.
[EDIT: I forgot to mention that Tori's (
yumenohoshi) parents said I could go with them to Chicago for the JLPT. YES! I'll have to stay hotel Saturday night hotel, but since I'll be splitting the cost of that with Tori (~$80/2=$40), it'll be cheaper than the Greyhound + no hotel (~$100 if I order my tickets a week in advance) anyway. Plus, it'll give us a chance to hang out and review before the test.
