We ended up going to Life of Brian after all - and so happy am I! The theater was about half full (maybe a third?), which made me happy. At first I thought no-one was going to be there, but I really should have known better. ^_^; I wonder if they're going to show more Monty Python movies in the future?
Also, Dad woke me up early-ish this morning to go shopping. It kinda sucked, especially after going to bed late last night, but at least I got to have eggs-in-a-basket for breakfast. :) Anyways, I now have 20 more pairs of socks, 12 more pairs of underwear, 3 more sports bras, and new tennis shoes! Finally I can stop going to work in my water shoes! (I'm just glad the dog doo was gone by my first day. ><; )
So, now I'm off to get dressed, brush (maybe floss?) my toothses, finish my tea, and go off to work.

We have DSL at work now! *grins*
So, after I have my ramen, I've gotta do some more re-arranging, since the Rubel thinks the area behind the desk is to bare. I know what he means, but I don't want to have oils behind the desk, because it makes it harder for customers to smell them. I've moved the duplicate Shalimar Type to behind the desk, and I'm probably going to put the oils from the two highest unisex shelves behind the counter (this won't screw up the alphabetization, and right now they're so high that I have to get them for the customers anyway). I might also bring down some incense-lamp-thingies down, but I think I'll need a higher step-stool.
Of course, I'm not doing any of this until I eat my ramen. *goes off to eat*

P.S. I finally remembered to bring some CDs with me! Yay! Once I get my paycheck, I'm going to burn some copies to leave here.

Yay! More's been bought than I'm making today, and it's only 5! Now if only the store can make more profit than they're paying me. *crosses fingers*

Dear Woman Pacing in Front of the Store,
Please stop pacing in front of the store. You keep on making me look up to see if you're a customer, and it's always you. If you are actually an undercover cop on a stake-out, couldn't you just sit in your car like a good undercover cop? If you're carrying things from one of the end of the block to the other, couldn't you get a laundry basket or something to put everything in so you can make two trips instead of fifty? If you just need some exercise, couldn't you walk down to the river and back?
In any case, my point is that you're DRIVING ME INSANE! PLEASE STOP!

Sincerely,
Nastassja Riemermann

Ngyar... I started "decorating" the shelves behind the desk, and so far it just looks... Conceited. Maybe I'll ask my parents for ideas when they come to drop off my PB&J sandwiches.

I'm sorry to make so many posts today, but I just wanted to express my happiness. Ann just came in with not only a PB&J sandwich, but:
- one pint of 2% milk
- one pint of Nesquik reduced fat chocolate milk
- six peanut butter sandwich crackers
and, last but not least
- FIVE OREOS!!!

Dunno why she brought two kinds of milk, and I can take or leave the peanut butter crackers, but I'm happy. ^_^
She also says that Susie (her sister) wants to come in some time. We were joking that Ann would have to go with her, since Susie's somewhat irrationally scared of the area, even in the middle of the day. Thank goodness I haven't spend the last ten years of my life in Minnetonka... ^_^;

P.S. Ann says the shelves behind the desk look fine.

[EDIT: There was also a news article entitled "Minnesota colleges get high marks" in the bag. OK... ^_^;]
