[DL] *is confused*

Excuse my language, but WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT THING ATTACHED TO MY TONGUE THAT NO ONE ELSE SEEMS TO HAVE?! I'm thinking that maybe it's my pharyngeal flap, but that's supposed to be a bridge between the back of the throat and the soft palate, but this doesn't seem to be either.

ETA from 4/27/2011: It's an epiglottis.
