[DL] 11.5 part 1
Mar. 21st, 2003 11:42 pmYea! I had a very nice day today, at least for the most part. Got together with Patrick for about 11.5 hours. ^_^ I was going to get together with him at 10:30 (he has spring break starting today), but then I realized that I was meeting Mrs. Grotewold at 11, and tutoring at 14. I didn't really prepare for German (partly because that would have required going to my mom's, which I really didn't have a chance to do, and partly 'cuz I'm a lazy bum). So, I called Mrs. Grotewold (just as she was heading out the door) and asked if we could move our appointment to Monday, and she said that was ok.
Since I forgot to shower the previous night (I sometimes do when I have MAS), so I took the bus home, took a shower, and waited for Patrick to pick me up between 11:15 and 11:30. He got kinda lost on the way over. ^_^; But I was late myself, I got a chance to make some yummy spicy Korean ramen! So, he picked me up, and we went to his house so he could get something to eat (I totally forgot that we were going to get something together... ^^;) That boy puts so much salt on his food! I wonder what his blood pressure is...
We then went back to my school to tutor some kids in Algebra II, and... That wasn't so great. Out of respect for Patrick, I'll just say next time I'll do so alone. But thing's worked out eventually.
We were done tutoring at about 15:30, and we went to the cathedral. So pretty... I just wish they didn't redo the dome - the green was so unique. But I heard there was some leakage, so... That's probably why. Anyways, that place is really pretty - haven't been there in too long. A part of me wishes I was still a catholic. My religious history is so strange... I'm actually starting of reading the bible regularly, but I won't go to church (other than meeting) unless/until I truly believe in God. I don't want to fool myself again. But I really want him to come with me to meeting sometime.
You know, I'm getting tired. I'll continue tomorrow.
