Just so you know, I'm feeling relatively (key word) good physically and emotionally. No longer feel like I'm going to break into tears if God's coin lands tails. This is probably mostly because I know I'm getting a ride home from MaryAnn in five minutes, but I don't see how that would have an effect on my physical symptoms. Anyways, my request for a ride home is void, but the extra, extra open door will probably stay like that for a while. ^_^;

Hi, I was born with a cleft lip and palate. I find your journal so inspiring. I always found it hard to deal with growing up. It's truly inspiring how you have a positive outlook on it. I want to thankyou for your journal and for speaking up on this issue. I've never been able to talk about it until recently. As you can probably tell, it's still kinda difficult. Reading your journal has helped a great deal. I shall continue reading with great interest. Hope you feel better soon.

Nice to meet you, Mark. I'm glad my journal is of help to you. I've been writing as a vent, but at some point I'd like to also sit back and write about my experience with this particular surgery as there was nothing really available to help me. Pretty much every step in my recovery has been a surprise, many of them unpleasant. Even if it's silly, I am proud of my cleft, I suppose because the experiences it's brought to me have molded me for the better.
Anyways, though. ^_^ I'd like to hear more from you. Can I have your e-mail?
