Okay, posting time. *thinks*
*stares at computer screen*
What the hell was I going to say?

Eh, I'll remember eventually, so for now I'll just babble.

So, I'm sitting here eating my dinner pizza. Since Dad usually only cooks for those who are home for dinner, I don't get any when I work PM. Since Amy won't let Bruce give away the leftovers at the end of the day, I made myself a medium (12" - I'm annoyed at myself for having needed to look that up) cheese pizza. Normally that's $5.99, but I get half off everything we make (ie. not pop or pizza cutters), so I paid $2.99. Not bad. :)
Oh, so work was crazy today. I started at 4, and Justin left soon after I arrived, since he started at 9. I think he was scheduled to work open to close, but he was really tired, and told me to give him a call if we needed him. All's good. Bruce starts pushing the pre-makes, including the somewhat tedious-to-make Awesome Foursome. I've learned from Justin that the point of these is to have them ready during busy times, and that when things are calm we should just make orders on the spot. Kind of annoying, but oh well. Well, business picks up - ie. we're actually selling stuff rather than standing around being bored. And then... We get this rush. And it's only Bruce and me. Whee. At first this is okay, but then call-ins start to build up, and we end up getting so behind that even people who come in a half hour later than they intended have to wait for us to make their pizza in front of them. I call Justin asking him to come in, and he asks what's wrong, and I wuss out and tell him that I don't need him after all. Then a customer got annoyed when he came in quite a bit after he had said he would, and his order still wasn't ready. He asked in a slightly accusing tone when he should come back so it would be ready. I felt really guilty, and decided to call Justin again to ask him to come in. I didn't want to piss off any more customers.
Gah, besides my constant change of tense, I just realized that I left a lot out of that description, and that it's already awkard enough without cramming in more clipped sentences. So I'll just say here that as we were desperately working to catch up, there was a bunch of containers sitting on the make line, both waiting for a pause in production so we could put them away and hindering said production. Gah!
Final touch to the day: because things were so busy, we had to do basically all end-of-day work after closing - and then I made the mistake of letting someone come in after close - along with his five other friends with two separate orders. I'm glad for the business, but... We got done closing at about 9:40. Not only that, but Justin decided that Amy would be too annoyed at closing taking so long, so we swiped out at 9.
That was a stupid ramble.

I'm still waiting for my deposit to fully go through so I can use my check card, but perhaps that's for the better, since I'm already down to $68.47 and $21 in my wallet, and I have some stuff that I still need to buy for the MAS Halloween party.
Speaking of Halloween, when I looked at my schedule to see when I next work (Tuesday at 4 pm), I saw that on October 31st it said "OC". I asked Chris what this meant: open to close. Yay! 12 hours in one day! *grins* Yes, it'll be really tiring and probably stressful, but I have tuition to save for.

Yeah, that's enough for now. I'm sure you enjoyed my garble.
