You don't even WANT to know how much time and energy I put into trying to recall that word. Eventually I thought to call Roger (my step-dad) and he told me, but... Urgh!
I really wish my active vocabulary matched my passive vocabulary. I mean, I wouldn't want my passive to drop to the level of my active, but... I'd be OK with some sort of a compromise... ^_^;
