Born in a war of opposite attraction
It isn't, or is it a natural conception?
Torn by the arms in opposite directions
It isn't, or is it a Modernist reaction?

Yatta! I submitted three of my five songs for today to Anime Lyrics.
Only ten more to go... ><;

The scary thing is, "The Workout" and "Tippy Toe" are beginning to grow on me. As in I don't immediately have the urge to skip them anymore. Seriously, "Tippy Toe" reminds me of "Follow Me" by Uncle Cracker.
I'm not worried bout the ring you wear
Cuz as long as no one knows than nobody
can care
You're feelin' guilty and I'm well aware
But you don't look ashamed and baby
I'm not scared

Patrick told me that at a Christian school's dance his friend went to once, they wouldn't play "Higher" by Creed because it could be interpreted as a song about drugs, but they played "Follow Me".
Can you take me higher?
To the place where blind men see
Can you take me higher?
To the place with golden streets

Umm... Right.

In other news, BUHI!

Were you Japanese in a past life?

Easy Breezy and Tippy Toe are a bit sluttish, like you said in an earlier entry. The Workout is a bit...odd too. Favorites are DEFINITELY Exodus 04 and Devil Inside.

Oh, yeah, Creed is really talking about getting high. *rolls eyes* I'm happy my mom didn't send me to that Catholic school she was thinking about >>

Are you saying that Easy Breezy is sluttier than The Workout?!

Bah, those are really arbitrary distinctions between the two songs. Not to mention Creed was always supposedly a Christian band gone mainstream, you'd think they'd want to support that. *rolls eyes*

Which two songs? "Tippy Toe" and "Follow Me", or "Follow Me" and "Higher"?

Follow Me and Higher, sorry :)

No problem. More than an arbitrary disctinction, adultery is forbidden by the ten commandments; doing drugs can only be interpreted as dirtying the temple that is the human body.
Assuming, of course, that the golden streets and blind men seeing refers to being high.
