Pointless thought cycles.

Please, please, please call me back.
I wish I could call you back and tell you to call me back, but... Yeah.
Ugh, いら立たしい.

Strange discovery on WWWJDIC: 二階から目薬 【にかいからめぐすり】 (exp) something that cannot be done no matter how hard one tries (and is slightly frustrating because of this)
This literally means "eyedrops from the second floor". So strange.

Got sent home 5 hours early today. I can't say that this cloud doesn't have a silver lining, but I'm really losing too many hours lately with business slowing down more than my bosses expected. I was starting to rethink trying to get a second job, but now not so much.

The second episode of Cat Street is out (so far sub only). I really enjoyed the first episode, and am looking forward to the second one finishing downloading. (Is that grammatical?)

Do you think dropping eyedrops into someone's eyes from a floor above would be possible? I don't. I think it makes perfect sense. I mean, we have all sorts of crazy idioms too.

Oooh, that makes a bit more sense. I was thinking along the lines of "it's frustrating having eyedrops fall in your eyes from two floors above, because it's really hard not to close your eyes", or something convoluted like that. But now that idiom makes a lot more sense.
