just a quick one before bed

Yay, pads with wings!
Anyways, I just finished Clerks II. Good movie. ^_^ Although I must say I had no clue "porch monkey" was an ethnic slur. I almost wondered if Kevin Smith was making it up to make fun of ethnic slurs. (Of course, maybe he was anyway.)
And now I have 20 minutes until computer-off time and I'm feeling... Off. Maybe I'll make myself some tea. No-one says I can't make myself tea after I turn off the computer, especially if it's white tea.
I went to the mall with [livejournal.com profile] yumenohoshi today to get some new planner pages and a new planner binder at Franklin Covey, and while I was there I found out that the rings of the binder are under warranty for the life of the product, and all it takes to fix them is to bring them in to the store for two minutes and they'll replace them. Great, I think, now I don't have to blow $35 to buy a new binder, I'll just come back tomorrow with my old one and get it fixed. I think I threw it away. Damn. Oh well, at least now I don't have to worry about whether my next binder is gonna have the rings fail on me. Still, I wish I had that nice leather and denim one I got from my neighbors a couple of years ago. (Actually, it was a whole planner, but it was nice and skinny and I used it for my Franklin Covey pages, even if it did only fit three months at a time. It was totally worth how easily it fit along side my other stuff in my bag.)
OH! When I went to Yudof today to pick up my state I.D., it turns out they had my whole bag after all! Well, everything but my checkbook, which I have yet to pick up at this one woman's house, and my U Card, which I think needs to be replaced. I should probably do that tomorrow. BUT, at least I have my book and my check card and my state I.D. and my bus pass! And that's good. ^_^
One last thing: I got paid this morning, so I finally paid my Firstmark bill (they were starting to call, too ^^;) and paid $100 to Washington Mutual. If only I hadn't lost my check from my Grandpa $39 of that wouldn't have gone towards late fees, but... I guess that's what I get.
And now I think I shall shut off a few minutes early and get a head start on winding down.

Nope, it's been around for a while. It's one of those slurs that's been out of mainstream use for decades. Probably because someone realized it made them sound ridiculous when they said it.

It's not my fault

I said put it someplace safe not in a dimensional warp that won't release it until you move out of that room in 20 years, then after you've moved the two collectables, which generated the warp, away from each other you notice the check's mumified particles, and reaching for it the slight rush of air cause by your hand puffs them into a yellowy mist that you inhale and sneeze out in a mighty blast....

But in that moment before you sneeze you have a flashback of all the times you spent with your Ojichan that seems to take 23 minutes, and could be extended to a 13 episode series if you thined it out with enough canned gags and meaningless extra characters. Anyway your a left feelig very nostalgic by the moment an almost want to cry but instead you are overcome with warmth and are found standing in the middle of the room grinning like an idjit, gazing out the window, which is shining a beam of light across your snot bubble nose.

*laughs*
You are a special one. But I still blame it on you. After all, everyone needs their scapegoat.
