この仕事を探すのは大変。　じつは、一生懸命探さないけど、本当に頑張っています。　授業料を払えなかったら、どうしよう。

シスコはピカードのことをきらいかもしれません。　どうしてあたしはDS9をもっと見なかったの？　それに、犬ちゃんのお父さんのDVDをもう貸してもらえないのね。

For much of the series, Sisko was a commander rather than a captain, though I think he got promoted well before the end. Therefore, beginning-of-TNG-Picard outranks beginning-of-DS9-Sisko. Since Picard keeps refusing getting promoted to admiral, end-of-TNG-Picard does not outrank Sisko's final rank by the end of DS9, even though he easily could've outranked him.

Methinks the circle-thingies are called "pips".
