Petco probably just wants you to buy another one if he, um, dies. Have you looked around online for info? I know that finding veteranary treatment for non-mammals is nearly impossible. But maybe there are some reptile loving groups around. There are a bazillion communities on LJ with "lizards" as an interest. (I'd try "exotic pets".) {thinks, tries to remember} (Jesus is a lizard, right?)
No, he's a Betta. And fish supplies cost more than fish themselves, so it doesn't make sense that they wouldn't want to sell me fish medicine... I really need to post in bettafishowners, but first I have to give the entire story, and yeah... I should really do that, though. *twiddles my thumbs* ^^;
