job hunting for the lazy

I just applied to IKEA...
I want to move to Germany... If I ever break up with Patrick, I think I'm going to go full-steam-ahead with moving to either Germany or Canada. (Of course, full-steam-ahead with moving to Canada consists of doing exactly what I'm doing now, only taking French and not getting a boyfriend.)
*thinks of more places that I can apply to online*

You know what would be cool? If I could, like, exchange my American citzenship for a Canadian one, keeping my German citizenship. That would be WAY awesome.

I was thinking that when I read your last comment! I don't see why you couldn't aside from the fact that I don't think it's a process made up yet. Though, for future refrence if either of us get into position of power, I don't find anything horrible about it ^^

Well, I think the idea is that if you're really serious enough about becoming a full member of a nation, you should be serious enough to give up your old one, or else your loyalty in times of war, etc., would be questioned. Kind of like how naturalized citizens can't become president of the U.S.
