If there are two things I suck at, they're keigo and letter-writing. I already sent this off after having vulchu take a look at it, but if any 日本語ができる人 want to do some nit-picking, it'd be much appreciated.

Dad, Ann, and Alana are all leaving to go to Washington state tomorrow for FGC; leaving around 10 PM, Dad said. I know I've lived "on my own" for a year already, but I always had various levels of company, even at times it just meant other people in the building. I suppose I'll go so far as to say I'm a little uneasy about being the only one in the house for two weeks (they'll be getting back on the 11th), not so much because I'm worried, but I prefer to have more company than that. No boyfriend to invite over, either. ^_^; So... If anyone's interested in a sleepover, or just hanging out in general, at any time while they're gone, let me know. :) Also, I've been thinking I really want to go camping with someone since my family won't be doing a camping trip this year, so if anyone (with a driver's license) wants to go camping with me for a weekend, let me know about that too.

BTW, I swear Youhei and Kouhei are girls! What's with those character designs?

To Tori-chan: What's with you signing off so suddenly like that? You poop-butt. :-P So, yeah, I found a book on letter writing after all, but it seem's it's out of print. There was one copy on Amazon.com for $60, but the lack of the o-kane kinda nixes that one... However, they do have a book on writing e-mails, which might be of more use anyway. ^^; This site's pretty nice, too. :)

寂しくて、犬ちゃんに会いたくて

I really want to talk to my Inu-chan right now... Except he's not my Inu-chan anymore, and he's not online anyway. Stupid song making me feel all squickily natsukashii and afraid of dying to boot. (I have two types of fears of dying: the fear I've had since I was three of eternal unconsciousness, and a somewhat more recent fear of forgetting everything from life, although the latter isn't quite as much a fear as a deep sadness and not wanting it to be true. That song and series is one of the things I don't want to forget about.)
My multi-leveled loneliness isn't helping either. I want to spend time more time with my friends, I want to be back at RBC, I don't want to be alone for two weeks, I want to spend time with my mom and the rest of my family at her house, I want a boyfriend to spend time with, I want to be taking classes or at least working full-time (I suppose boredom and loneliness are similar feelings for me), and I want Patrick back...

I'm getting quite tired and I really would do well to be asleep right now, but I really don't want to go to bed.
Heh... I just realized something. I think part of the reason I don't like going to bed is because it's... Lonely.

first drafts DONE

The first drafts of all tracks are DONE! *does a tired little dance*
It helped that I already typed up Passion from when I started translating it for the fansub I'm hoping to do, though I had to tweak it a bit to conform with the album booklet. So next step is to double-check the kanji with the booklet (blech) and the romaji with my various tools and what I hear on the CD, then working a bit on the word breaks at some parts, then making sure my style conforms throughout (because I'm anal-retentive like that), then FINALLY e-mailing it off to animelyrics.com. After that I'll take a nice break before I try to tackle translations, as that's a whole 'nother can of worms. ><;

Well, I'm gonna go work on laundry now, listening to crazy Japanese music on the stereo at 11:15 on a weeknight because I'm home alone and can do what I want! (Yeah, I fully admit to the advantages of having no-one around, even if it can be lonely. ^_^) I should see if I can't figure out how to hook up my iPod to the stereo system while I'm at it...

Okay, Dad just called and reminded me that I have control over the Netflix queue while they're gone, so...

[EDIT: Hmm... Does anyone have the song "Otome Ranman" from Fushigi Yuugi, sung by Nuriko, that they could send me? I am in much likage of that song right now. ^_^]
